How to deposit Programs into our AIXPDSLIB:

There are (at the present time) 3 methods to deposit your programs in 
our library:   

    1. Electronic mail ( preferred )
       -----------------------------

          To send your contributions via e-mail, please follow the below
          steps to avoid error/corruption caused by the mailer:

          a. Make a tarred file for the source codes
                ex:  tar -cvf  emacs.tar  ./emacs-19.22

          b. compress the tarred file
                ex:  compress emacs.tar

          c. uuencode the compressed tarred file
                ex:  uuencode  emacs.tar.Z  emacs.tar.Z  >  gnuemacs

          d. split the uuencoded compressed tarred file into pieces of
             1000 lines max each.
                ex:  split -1000 gnuemacs  gemacs_part

          e. send them ( gemacs_partaa, gemacs_partab, ... ) to 
             library@aixpdslib.seas.ucla.edu, in their order.


    2. Physical mail:
       -------------

          Requires that you have the ability to create an archive on one
          of the following media:
            *  9 track tape (1600 or 6250 BPI)
            *  1/4 Inch cartridge tape (6157 or 6157-2)
            *  8mm tape
            *  3 1/2 inch floppy disk. 


    3. Let us know:
       -----------

       If you provide the product on your site, or you'd like to put some 
       of your good pds in our aixpdslib, then notify us the product'name
       and where it's located.
